Lost in a Cloud

I was perusing through our photo library and came across this little gem. It's from last week when TJ and Ari were blowing into a brand new cork mold, a steel pipe lined with cork. Even though you wet down the cork so it does not burn when you drop a molten gather of glass in, it still produces a spectacular amount of smoke the first time. That's why they call it "burning-in a mold." And this time, the entire studio was filled. Up in the loft, it felt like those scenes in "Heaven Can Wait," where Warren Beatty was wandering through the clouds of the afterlife.

smokin'!
